Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is a system of slow movements, breathing techniques and meditations that promote relaxation and self-healing. This is an ancient practice used to accumulate, cleanse, and refine our life force (Qi), improving the health and harmony of mind and body. It is related to Taiji Chuan (Tai Chi), but is generally thought of as more meditative and straightforward to practice. Qigong can be used for health and healing, spiritual development or martial arts.
